This piece is a sound sculpture in the sense that the sound creates a spatial effect which you experience by moving through it. This piece can be experienced in any room in which the sound can be heard throughout the room without excessive amplification.

Instructions for the piece:

-DO NOT USE HEADPHONES: this will eliminate the effect of the piece

-Any speaker configuration can be used as the sound is in mono. Using only one speaker is preferred but more will not harm the outcome. All speakers should be in the same general location however (i.e. not surround)

-Not much volume is needed. Adjust the speaker levels so that you can hear them well enough but so they are not overpowering. Playing the sound too loud would be a bad idea.

-While listening to the sound, walk about the room, tilt your head, move up and down, slowly, quickly. Find places where you hear different sounds.
